Terms & Conditions

Welcome to German Butchery (“GBdelivering”). By placing an order on germanbutchery.rw or through our app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Ordering

• You can order through our website, app or WhatsApp. When you place an order, we will confirm it with you by phone or WhatsApp.
• An order is accepted once we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, the delivery area is out of range, or details cannot be verified.
• Please provide accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses or unreachable phone numbers.

2. Prices & products

• Prices are shown in Rwandan Francs (RWF) and may change without notice.
• Many items (meat, fish, cheese) are sold by weight (per kilogram) or per piece/pack; the final price is based on the actual weight or quantity supplied.
• We work to show products and photos accurately, but slight variations in cut, weight and appearance are normal for fresh products.

3. Delivery

• We deliver across Kigali. The delivery fee depends on your sector to the people who purchase less than 30kg and is shown at checkout.
• A minimum order may apply in some areas; it is shown before you confirm.
• Order before the daily cut-off (around 3:00 PM) for same-day delivery where available; otherwise we deliver on the next available slot.
• Please be available on the phone number you provide so our rider can reach you.

4. Payment

• You can pay by transfer or by MTN Mobile Money.
• For Mobile Money, you approve the payment on your own phone with your PIN. We never ask for your PIN and do not store it.
• Your order is confirmed as paid once we receive the Mobile Money confirmation.

5. Cancellations, returns & refunds

• Because we sell fresh, perishable food, orders can be changed or cancelled only before they are prepared or dispatched — contact us as soon as possible.
• If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or not of acceptable quality, contact us within 24 hours with a photo and we will replace it or refund it.
• Approved refunds are made using your original payment method or by Mobile Money.

6. Quality & food safety

We deliver using cold-chain handling to keep products fresh. Once delivered, please refrigerate or freeze items promptly and follow safe storage and cooking practices.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website or app, place fraudulent orders, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Rwanda.
